Tour of Canadian Museum of History

Join us for a tour of the Canadian Museum of History.

Located on the banks of the Ottawa River — with a stunning view of Parliament Hill, the National Gallery of Canada, and downtown Ottawa — the Canadian Museum of History (formerly the Canadian Museum of Civilization) provides detailed insight into 20,000 years of human history.

Upon your arrival to the museum, please enter through the main entrance. We will meet at the coat check of the museum (located past the information desk by the gift shop) so that participants can leave their coats and bags. Because you will be entering a secure area of the museum, there are a few ground rules we ask you to follow:

1. No food or drink is permitted
   
2. Photos in storage areas are permitted without a flash
   
3. All artifact handling will be done by museum staff
   
4. Please use pencil only if taking notes; pens are not permitted
   

This tour is for 15 people.  If more than 15 people express interest, the guest list will be at the discretion of the event organizer.
